eLearning Case Studies and Results
Welcome—this portfolio brings together eLearning case studies that show how I plan, build, and launch training that actually moves the needle. Each project highlights real constraints, the instructional design decisions behind the solution, and the outcomes achieved. I work nationally (remote) with Higher Education, Corporate L&D, K-12, and Healthcare teams to deliver courses that are usable, measurable, and accessible.
My approach blends evidence-based instructional design with the right tools and platforms: Articulate Storyline development and Adobe Captivate development for custom interactivity, plus Canvas LMS implementations for structure, templates, and analytics. Every build is packaged for SCORM 1.2/2004 or xAPI (as needed) and validated in your LMS for tracking and completion. Accessibility is built in from the start—WCAG 2.2 checks, captions/transcripts, meaningful alt text, keyboard navigation, and clear focus order—so more learners can succeed without barriers.
As you browse, you’ll see a consistent throughline: define business and learner outcomes, prototype quickly, test early, and iterate with SMEs. Where clients permit, I include metrics (e.g., time-to-competence, quiz lift, completion rates, support ticket reduction). When confidentiality limits specifics, I still outline process, decisions, and lessons learned so you can see how the solution would translate to your context.
Looking for something specific? Filter by tool (Storyline, Captivate), delivery (Canvas), or objective (onboarding, compliance, simulation). If you’re exploring a rollout or migration, start with the Canvas examples; if you’re focused on interactivity and scenario design, jump to Storyline and Captivate. For media-heavy work, see eLearning Multimedia (Video/VO) to understand how scripting, motion graphics, and voiceover integrate cleanly into modules. All developement and implementations are created with inclusivity in mind. No learners are left behind!
Have a challenge that isn’t shown here? Reach out with a brief on goals, audience, and timeline—I’m happy to suggest a path, estimate effort, and identify quick wins you can implement immediately.

This course was built around the Backward Design framework utilizing Open Educational Resources (OER) for all instructional materials and user guides. The theories used were Cognitivism (memorizing and information processing via OER) and Constructionism (summative assessments).
CALIFORNIA DINGO PROVIDED:
Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Content Design, Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments, LMS Development (Canvas)
Drawing 101
IDT Graduate Project
This is a IDT graduate program project. The directive was to create an online eLearning course from scratch using a website builder.
This course was built around the Backward Design framework utilizing Open Educational Resources (OER) for all instructional materials. The instruction is rooted in the Constructionism Learning theory in that in every module the learner is to construct an artifact based on the modules’ instruction.
This course required use of Absorb, Do, and Connect activities and was to adhere to ADA accessibility requirements.
CALIFORNIA DINGO PROVIDED:
Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Content Design, Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments, Web-based Instruction Development and Design (using Wix.com).
