Henry Rollins’ Work Ethic

It’s been a long while since I posted something. All I can say is summer happened. That’s about it. Plus, I’ve been getting some work that has kept me quite busy. Also, I’ve continued to improve my studio by building a much more efficient desk. I don’t consider myself a woodsmith, but I must say… I’m quite impressed with my desk. I will have a post showing what I’ve built and how I built it. Also, I plan on throwing up many of the projects I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved in. So, much to come…but remember, it is summer and I love being outside as opposed to sitting in front of my computer tying in the blog. 🙂

At any rate, to help get me back in the blogging saddle I decided to put a very inspiring video of Henry Rollins (Black Flag fame) discussing how he “made it”. The overall moral of his tale, however, is point blank: Hard Work, Tenacity, Can Do Attitude. We can all aspire to be better at what we do, but as the man says… hard work will outweigh talent in many cases. I know this to be true in my own personal life. I enjoyed it, I hope you do to.

Till next time…
